Cadmore Auctions is the mobile app for browsing our sales, viewing lot
catalogues, and bidding live in our auctions.
This policy explains how Cadmore Auctions Ltd ("we", "us")
collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Cadmore Auctions
mobile app (the "App"). It applies specifically to the mobile App.
1. Information we collect
- Account information - name, email, and credentials you provide when registering or signing in to bid.
- Bidding activity - bids you place, lots you watch, and auction participation history.
- Enquiries - when you request a condition report or contact us through the App, the name, email address, and message you submit.
- Device and technical data - device model, OS version, app version, and network state, used for stability and connectivity.
- Live stream media - during live auctions the App connects to a real-time audio/video stream so you can watch the saleroom. The App only receives this stream; it does not access, capture, or transmit your device's camera or microphone. The camera permission is removed from the production build.
2. How we use your information
- To operate auctions and process and display your bids.
- To show live auction status and bidding alerts within the App.
- To stream live auctions to your device.
- To respond to condition-report requests and enquiries you send us.
- To maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve reliability.
3. Sharing
We share data with service providers strictly to run the App:
- Our auction backend - operated on our behalf to run sales and store account and bidding data.
- LiveKit - real-time audio/video streaming infrastructure for the live saleroom.
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
4. Payments
The App does not collect or process any payment or card
details. If you win a lot, you are sent an invoice with a secure payment link
and complete payment outside the App. No financial information is entered into
or stored by the App.
5. Data retention
We retain account and bidding records for as long as your account is active
and as required for legal, accounting, and auction-record purposes.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data.

7. Children
The App is intended for users 18 and over. We do not
knowingly collect data from children.
8. Security
Traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS;
cleartext traffic is disabled.
